(COLORADO SPRINGS) — The Colorado Springs Fire Department (CSFD) said that since 8 a.m. on Monday, Dec. 9, crews have responded to more than 30 crashes and counting, as of 12:30 p.m.
According to CSFD, at least one department engine has been involved in a traffic incident while on the scene of another crash.
FOX21 Storm Team Meteorologist Megan Montero said that snow will continue to fall until about midnight for most of the region, and temperatures will continue to drop, making roads icy and travel difficult. Driving will especially be hazardous around the I-25 corridor through the evening and overnight hours.

CSFD asks that people stay off the roads if possible. If anyone has to travel, take it slow, be mindful of other drivers and first responders, and be prepared for traffic delays.
