(COLORADO SPRINGS) — Felipe Velasquez, owner of Felipe’s 109 in Colorado Springs, joined Loving Living Local hosts Krista Witiak and Justin Antweil, to discuss his signature dishes, homemade sauces, and fun Taco Tuesday specials.

“We love the Colorado Springs community,” Velasquez said. “We started out as a food truck during Covid and I was able to get a loan and expand and I’m so happy with the products. We are known for $2 Taco Tuesdays, plus we look to expand with different kinds of milkshakes here in 2025.”

Antweil was able to try the renowned Green-Chili Ranch for the first time and loved the creaminess and spicy kick. The venue is open 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Mondays through Saturdays and is located at 3008 South Academy Boulevard.
