Two restaurants team up to benefit Tinnitus Association

(COLORADO SPRINGS) — On Monday, Feb. 3 Colorado Springs’ Bubba’s 33 and Texas Roadhouse locations will donate all profits to benefit the American Tinnitus Association (ATA).

According to Texas Roadhouse, more than 26 million adults in the U.S. suffer from tinnitus. Tinnitus is commonly referred to as “ringing in the ears,” but it can manifest many different perceptions of sound, including buzzing, hissing, whistling, swooning, and clicking. Tinnitus is the perception of sound when no actual external noise is present.

In honor of late founder Kent Taylor Texas Roadhouse and Bubba’s 33 will donate 100% of all dine-in and to-go profits from Monday to ATA.

“By supporting ATA, Bubba’s 33 and our family of employees honor the life and vision of our founder, Kent Taylor, who was passionate about helping others,” says CEO and President Jerry Morgan. “The Bubba’s 33/Texas Roadhouse-ATA partnership is driven by the heartfelt desire to ensure that everyone is aware of tinnitus, its prevention, and what can be done to manage it.”
