(COLORADO SPRINGS) — The Colorado Springs Police Department (CSPD) reported that on Friday, March 7, detectives located a suspected with an active warrant for robbery and kidnapping, leading to an arrest.

According to CSPD, around 7:15 p.m. on Friday, detectives with the Violent Offender Fugitive Task Force (VOFTF) located 33-year-old Joshua Spradling in a vehicle and conducted surveillance on him as he drove around Colorado Springs, following him to a home in the 2600 block of East Bijou Street, near North Circle Drive.

Multiple CSPD departments assisted, including K9 and drone surveillance. Spradling was seen returning to his vehicle, and officers blocked it off. He allegedly tried to run but was apprehended after a short chase. The vehicle he was driving was impounded for further investigation.
