Man arrested for deadly hit-and-run in Pueblo

(PUEBLO, Colo.) — A man has been arrested on multiple charges after he allegedly hit and killed a man and ran from the scene.

According to the Pueblo Police Department (PPD), its officers along with deputies from the Pueblo County Sheriff’s Office (PCSO) originally responded around 9 p.m. on Wednesday, March 26 to a report of a man hit by a car in the 3700 block of Lake Avenue, near Pueblo Boulevard and I-25.

When officers arrived, PPD said they found a man dead.

On Thursday, PPD located the car and driver suspected to have been involved in the hit-and-run. The driver, 41-year-old Brandon Zullo, was arrested and charged with hit-and-run causing death and tampering with evidence. The car was towed to PPD for processing.
