Second fire in Pueblo at 43 acres, no containment

UPDATE: THURSDAY 4/17/2025 5:59 p.m.

(PUEBLO COUNTY, Colo.) — The Daniel Road fire burning in Vineland in Pueblo County has burned 43 acres and is at 0% containment, according to PCSO.

PCSO said the fire is burning in the Arkansas River bottom.

ORIGINAL STORY: Fire crews responding to second fire in Pueblo County

The Pueblo County Sheriff’s Office (PCSO) reported that on Thursday, April 17, fire crews responded to a second fire in Pueblo County, at 38th Lane and Daniel Road, called the Daniel Road Fire.

PCSO said as of about 4:30 p.m. on Thursday, the fire was at 38 acres with no information on containment reported.

The fire was reported after another fire called the 67Lane Fire happened earlier on Thursday afternoon.
