(COLORADO SPRINGS) — On Saturday, June 28, Battle MMA Championships, a veteran-owned promotion officially launched in 2021 and has since hosted 17 events, helping fighters gain exposure, develop their skills, and take the next step in their careers.

Battle MMA Championships was started by a former fighter who traveled across the country to compete, often at a great personal expense. They recognized the need for a local promotion that would allow athletes in our community to showcase their talents without having to travel extensively just to gain recognition.

On Saturday, Battle MMA Championships said it has 14 fights with exciting fights expected, such as:

Elijah Smith, who has successfully moved on to the UFC

Isaiah Torres, who is catching the UFC’s attention

Micah Haas, an undefeated 125lb champion

Robert Trujillo, competing for the lightweight slap world title

A strong lineup of rising fighters

A competitive women’s division, with top contenders fighting for the 115lb strawweight title.
