(COLORADO SPRINGS/ELBERT, Colo.) — On Friday, June 20, FOX21 News celebrated the 29th anniversary of Nexstar’s founding by serving in the community and helping our neighbors in need.
The day of service is part of this year’s “Founder’s Day of Caring,” where Nexstar stations help local organizations that are committed to improving the community.
This year, FOX21 helped three organizations, including Reclaiming Hope, Stable Strides, and Habitat for Humanity.
Founder’s Day began in 2016 on the 20th anniversary of Nexstar’s founding, with the goal of reaching a total of 20,000 hours of community service.
