Colorado Springs Comic Con features Clerks reunion and Star Wars talent

(COLORADO SPRINGS) — Altered Reality Entertainment presents the ninth annual Colorado Springs Comic Con at the Broadmoor World Arena, taking place from Friday, Aug. 15, through Sunday, Aug. 17. The comic con will feature a variety of actors, artists, vendors, and more, including well-known names such as Katee Sakhoff, Jason Lee, and Priscilla Presley.

Fans of Kevin Smith movies can attend a Clerks reunion led by the creator, writer, and director of the cult-classic film series, which includes cast members such as Lee, Brian O’Halloran, Ethan Suplee, Jason Mewes, and Trevor Fehrman. Smith will host a special Q&A event on Saturday night at the Colorado Springs Marriott.

The convention will also feature lineups including cast reunions from Starship Troopers, Ned’s Declassified School Survival Guide, Once Upon a Time, and Psych. The casts will appear on stage for panel Q&A sessions and will be available for group photo sessions with fans throughout the weekend.

Star Wars fans will have a lot to look forward to with talent spanning from The Clone Wars to Ahsoka scheduled to be in attendance, including Sakhoff, Brendan Wayne, Michelle Ang, Arnold Taylor, Ashley Eckstein, and Matt Lanter.

Gamers can meet Theo Solomon and Tracy Wildes from Baldur’s Gate III.

Younger fans have the chance to meet voice actors from anime properties such as Chainsaw Man, Spy X Family, My Hero Academia, and Pokéman. The original voices of Dora and Backpack from Dora the Explorer will be available to greet very young fans and those who grew up with the series.

Mena Suvari will be available to meet with fans of the American Pie film series, and with the recent release of The Naked Gun and the upcoming anniversary of Elvis Presley’s passing, fans can welcome Priscilla Presley, who will be in attendance all three days and will appear on stage for a Q&A session on Friday evening.

In addition to the extensive lineup, attendees can enjoy shopping from popular vendors and artists.

Show hours at the Broadmoor World Arena will be from 3 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Friday, from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Saturday, and from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday. Tickets can be purchased at the link above, and parking is free for all who attend.
