(PUEBLO, Colo.) — To celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month, Loving Living Local invited the renowned Mariachi Band based out of Pueblo, Mariachi Diamante, to perform live in the FOX21 News studio.

The iconic band, led by David Benavidez and family members, will be opening for comedian George Lopez on Friday, Sept. 19 at Pueblo Memorial Hall as part of the 31st Annual Chile & Frijoles Festival.

“The band’s mission is to provide an authentic, high-quality experience that brings joy to weddings, festivals, and family celebrations,” said David.

The star of Mariachi Diamante is nine-year-old musician Phoenix Benavidez, who practices 20 hours a week.
