(COLORADO SPRINGS) — The Colorado Springs Police Department (CSPD) said a motorcyclist died after a crash on Thursday, Sept. 18.

Around 4:45 p.m., officers were called to the crash at 800 Centennial Boulevard, near the intersection of Centennial Boulevard and North Chestnut Street.

Upon arrival, police found that one motorcycle was involved in the crash, and despite life-saving measures by medical personnel, the driver was pronounced dead on the scene.

According to CSPD, the Major Crash Team is investigating.
