(COLORADO SPRINGS) — October is National Pretzel Month, and the tasty treat has a long history and multicultural twist. Celebrity Historian, Raffi Andonian, joined FOX21 Morning News on Tuesday, Oct. 7, and shared some fun facts about this popular snack.
Andonian said pretzels got their start about 1,500 years ago in the Catholic church as an approved food to eat during Lent.
