DENVER (KDVR) — The Denver Nuggets might be without Aaron Gordon for a winner-takes-all Game 7 against the Oklahoma City Thunder on Sunday.
Gordon suffered a hamstring strain, and his status for Game 7 is currently unknown, according to the Denver Nuggets’ injury report.
Eagle-eyed fans might have noticed him briefly reach for the back of his leg after a late-game interception on a pass from Alex Caruso that hit Gordon in the leg. It almost went unnoticed as Gordon played several possessions after the injury, eventually exiting with just over a minute remaining in the game, but returning for one more possession after that.
Gordon has been listed as “Day-to-Day” on the injury report, so it is possible that he could still make an appearance in the final game.
He has been one of, if not the most consistent Nugget this post-season. He has been coming up with massive plays left and right, and is an integral part of the Nuggets’ game plan.
The most dependable shooter on the team right now, Gordon, is shooting 45.2% from behind the arc and is putting up 16.8 points, 2.9 assists and 7.3 rebounds in the 2025 postseason.
He will still have a period to rest before the Nuggets take on the Thunder on May 18 at 1:30 p.m. in Oklahoma.
