(COLORADO SPRINGS) — A suspect was arrested in the area of Dorchester Park on Wednesday morning, Feb. 7 for an alleged bank robbery, according to the Colorado Springs Police Department (CSPD).
CSPD said on Tuesday, Feb. 6 at around 11:50 a.m. officers were called to a bank near the corner of Pikes Peak and South Cascade Avenues. Police talked with staff who told officers that a man entered the bank and passed a note demanding money, before leaving with an undisclosed amount of money.
Police checked the area but were unable to locate the suspect.
On Wednesday, at around 10 a.m. an officer from the Downtown Area Response Team was in the area of Dorchester Park when they saw a man matching the description of the bank robbery suspect. The man identified, later identified as 35-year-old Kyle Miller, was contacted by police and interviewed. After the interview, police said Miller was arrested.
