(PUEBLO, Colo.) — On Thursday, July 31, Black Hills Energy held an event to give away 200 weatherization kits to customers.
Black Hills Energy said weatherization kits can help customers reduce their energy usage and save on their monthly bills. Black Hills Energy also installed weather stripping and LED lightbulbs in a home in the Bessemer neighborhood.
Representatives from Black Hills Energy were also on hand to answer questions and share resources with customers who may need help with their monthly bills.
“Unplugging things you’re not using from the wall, closing your curtains to keep the warmth and the cold in or outside, depending on the time of year,” said Natalie Falbo, Public Affairs Program Manager from Black Hills Energy.
More information on weatherizing your home can be found on Black Hills Energy’s website.
