(COLORADO SPRINGS) — The City of Colorado Springs said starting on Tuesday, May 14 there will be lane closures on Fillmore Street east of I-25 for maintenance work on the bridge.
The City said the first phase of the maintenance which is taking place between Tremont Street and Sinton Road is expected to last until July and will close one lane of westbound traffic. Two eastbound lanes and one westbound will remain open during the work.
According to the City, turns from Steel Drive and Mark Dabling Boulevard will be limited to right in/right out. The City is advising alternate routes for drivers and to anticipate delays.
The overall project is expected to take eight months finishing in January 2025.
