Broncos 2024 schedule: Home opener against Russell Wilson and the Steelers

DENVER (KDVR) — The Denver Broncos 2024 schedule has been released and features a visit from Russell Wilson for the home opener in Week 2 and a trip to Sean Payton’s old stomping grounds in New Orleans in Week 7.

We’ve known who the opponents are for several months now, including which games will be on the road, but now we know which week each matchup will be and what times most of them will be played.


Broncos 2024 single-game tickets go on sale Wednesday

Week 2: vs. Pittsburgh Steelers, Sunday, Sept. 15 at 2:25 p.m.

Week 3: @ Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Sunday, Sept. 22 at 11 a.m.

Week 4: @ New York Jets, Sunday, Sept. 29 at 11 a.m.

Week 5: vs. Las Vegas Raiders, Sunday, Oct. 6 at 2:05 p.m.

Week 6: vs. Los Angeles Chargers, Sunday, Oct. 13 at 2:05 p.m.

Week 7: @ New Orleans Saints, Thursday, Oct. 17 at 6:15 p.m.

Week 8: vs. Carolina Panthers, Sunday, Oct. 27 at 2:25 p.m.

Week 9: @ Baltimore Ravens, Sunday, Nov. 3 at 11 a.m.

Week 10: @ Kansas City Chiefs, Sunday, Nov. 10 at 11 a.m.

Some highlights of the schedule include a trip to New York to face Aaron Rodgers and the Jets on Sept. 29 and Payton’s return to Louisiana for a Thursday night matchup against the Saints on Oct. 17.

The only other primetime matchup on the orange and blue schedule is Week 13, when the Broncos host the Cleveland Browns for Monday Night Football.

Before the schedule was released, ESPN Bet placed the betting line for Broncos wins at 5.5. Last season, the Broncos finished the season with eight wins and nine losses, generally in line with or slightly below predictions from the FOX31 sports team.


Denver Broncos unveil new uniforms for 2024 season

According to FanDuel Sportsbook, the odds of the Broncos winning the Super Bowl are +15,000 as of 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday. They’re tied with the Washington Commanders with the third lowest odds trailed by the New England Patriots at +18,000 and the Carolina Panthers at +30,000.

If you’re looking for a safer bet, FanDuel has the Broncos at -900 to miss the playoffs.

The biggest change for the Broncos this year comes at quarterback where Russell Wilson has been released and will be replaced by a combination of Jarrett Stidham, Zach Wilson and Bo Nix.
