(CAÑON CITY, Colo.) — A man has been arrested on multiple charges including luring and indecent exposure after he allegedly tried to solicit children for sexual purposes in Cañon City.

According to the Cañon City Police Department (CCPD), officers received information on July 8 from the parent of a child and immediately began investigating the actions of 38-year-old Travis Beauman. Officers gathered evidence and interviewed witnesses and victims, which led to an arrest warrant being issued for Beauman.

On July 22, Beauman was arrested on a multitude of charges, including:

Internet sexual exploitation of a child

Internet luring of a child

Contributing to the delinquency of a minor

Indecent exposure

Harassment

Beauman was being held without bail until his advisement hearing on July 23, where he was released on a PR bond by the judge.
