(COLORADO SPRINGS) — The Colorado Springs Fire Department (CSFD) is currently on scene of a crash that has caused a natural gas leak.
CSFD reported the crash and leak near Hancock Expy at around 9:19 a.m. on Wednesday morning, April 30. According to fire crews, a car struck a townhouse on Bridgewater Drive, creating a natural gas leak.

“The immediate area has been evacuated, and crews are monitoring natural gas levels,” CSFD wrote via X (formerly known as Twitter).
CSFD HazMat is currently on scene, the gas leak has been clamped and crews continue to monitor gas levels in affected units.
