(COSTILLA COUNTY, Colo.) — The Costilla County Sheriff’s Office (CCSO) is asking the community to be on the lookout for an inmate who escaped custody on Monday, June 30.
According to CCSO, around 10:30 a.m. on Monday, an inmate who was being booked on burglary charges escaped during the booking process. He was last seen near Costilla Street in the town of San Luis.

The inmate, identified as Dallas Hayes, was last seen wearing black pants and a white muscle shirt with no shoes.
