(COLORADO SPRINGS) — October is Arts Month in the Pikes Peak Region, and there’s still plenty of time to get involved. Angela Seals, Executive Director of the Cultural Office of the Pikes Peak Region (COPPR), joined FOX21 Morning News on Tuesday, Oct. 21, to talk about the purpose of the event and how it helps visitors and residents alike engage with art experiences.

“October is National Arts and Humanities month all across the United States, and this is our 12th celebration of it all across the Pikes Peak region,” said Seals. “It’s a moment where we shine a spotlight on the goodness of arts, culture, and entertainment in our community all through the year.”

Highlights include a new project with Visit COS, where people can download a digital arts pass to their phone and check in at more than 60 local arts spots. Learn more at the website above.
