(COLORADO SPRINGS) — Free Comic Book Day is Saturday, May 3, and you can celebrate all things pop culture at Colorado Springs Comic and Toy Con, happening the same day!
According to its website, Colorado Springs Comic and Toy Con is the longest-running comic and toy convention in Colorado Springs. While this year’s convention overlaps with Free Comic Book Day, there’s plenty more to see besides comics, including action figures, toys, video games, collectibles, art, and handcrafted items. Admission is free and there will be free comics and door prizes as well.
The convention is happening in the cafeteria at Pine Creek High School, 10750 Thunder Mountain Ave., from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m., with entry from the east side of the building.
The event is family-friendly and costumes are always encouraged.
