(PUEBLO, Colo.) — The Colorado Department of Agriculture, along with the Colorado State Fair, has announced the official Colorado Lottery concert at this year’s fair.
Rock band Cheap Trick will perform at the Southwest Motors Event Center at the 153rd Colorado State Fair on Sunday, Aug. 31.
“Prepare for a night of pure rock ‘n’ roll magic! Cheap Trick’s performance will be an electrifying, unforgettable experience,” said Andrea Wiesenmeyer, general manager of the Colorado State Fair. “Get ready to celebrate the end of summer with this legendary band sponsored by the Colorado Lottery – it’s going to be a show for the ages!”
Cheap Trick bridges ’60s guitar pop, the hard rock of the 1970s, and the emerging punk rock sound of the early 1980s. The band is known for its own style, electrifying performances, catchy melodies, and innovative songwriting and rock anthems like “I Want You to Want Me.” Over the years, the band has helped define the power pop genre and still tours nonstop.
Cheap Trick was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2016.

Those who make a qualifying purchase of $30 or more on a single ticket of Powerball, Mega Millions, Colorado Lotto, or Lucky for Life will receive a voucher for concert admissions. Vouchers can be redeemed at the State Fair website. Those who want to attend the concert without purchasing a lottery ticket can buy them at the state fair box office for $52.
The Colorado State Fair runs from Friday, Aug. 22, through Labor Day, Monday, Sept. 1. Fair tickets can be purchased online at the link below, by phone at 1-800-514-3849, and in person at the Colorado State Fair box office.
