City of Pueblo to host tree debris drop-off event following recent snowstorm

(PUEBLO, Colo.) — The City of Pueblo will be hosting a free tree debris drop-off event beginning on Friday, Nov. 15 through Sunday, Nov. 17, to help homeowners who may still be cleaning up from the recent snowstorm.

The drop-off event will take place at Pueblo Wood Products, located at 1201 East Northern Avenue. It will be open and available to those who live in the City of Pueblo from 8 a.m. until 3 p.m. on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.

“We know many of our residents are cleaning up broken branches, limbs, and yard debris, so we want to offer a free drop-off location,” said Director of Pueblo Public Works Andrew Hayes. “The site will be open to residents of Pueblo throughout the weekend to provide a convenient and easy option for disposal.”

Disposal guidelines

Trees, fallen branches, and tree limbs will all be accepted

Other waste including commercial waste will not be accepted

There will be no after-hours dumping

Large or commercial vehicles may be turned away

“We hope our residents will take advantage of this free opportunity to dispose of their limb and branch debris while this location is open,” said Hayes.
