(COLORADO SPRINGS) — The City of Colorado Springs said drivers should expect nightly lane closures on the Woodmen Road bridge over North Academy Boulevard.
The City said drivers can expect nightly lane closures through the end of November, and is advising drivers to use caution in the area.
According to the City, Crews are installing a new Polyester Polymer Concrete overlay on the bridge, replacing the old asphalt and epoxy surfaces. The work is being done mostly at night to minimize impacts to drivers and is coordinated with the ongoing 2C paving project.
“This project will provide a smoother, longer-lasting surface for everyone traveling through the interchange,” wrote The City.
