(COLORADO SPRINGS) — Pikes Peak Outdoor Recreation Alliance (PPORA) is hosting its yearly Get Outdoors Day on Saturday, June 1.

Get Outdoors Day is an annual event for kids and families to engage with vendors and learn about ways to explore the outdoors.

On Saturday, over 30 vendors will be offering free interactive activities at Memorial Park for the event from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Families will be able to enjoy outdoor activities like archery, biking, shooting, fishing, paddling, and more.

Colorado Parks and Wildfire will be giving away free fishing poles to the first 800 children.
