Clerk’s Office conducts ballot test ahead of election

(COLORADO SPRINGS) — The Colorado Springs City Clerk’s office conducted a logic and accuracy test of the ballot county system on Monday, March 10.

Ahead of the election, the City conducted a test on the ballots for the six-district City Council seats. The logic and accuracy tests ensure that the voting equipment and ballots used in the upcoming election can properly display the ballot.

“It’s imperative that we have accurate machines and that we ensure that the machines count correctly, and that the integrity of the election is secure,” said Deputy City Clerk William Lamb.

Around 331,000 ballots were mailed out to registered voters in Colorado Springs on Friday, March 7, for the upcoming election.
