Colorado DMVs back in operation after computer outage

(COLORADO) — The computer outage caused by an update from CrowdStrike on Friday, July 19, impacted the Colorado Division of Motor Vehicles offices closing them while staff worked to fix the error.

As of Wednesday, July 24, the Colorado DMV said its offices have reopened and are fully operational. The State DMV and county DMV offices are different so those needing services will want to check with their local county DMV offices to see if there are any impacts to wait times or services.

Pueblo County said its DMV offices are fully operational. FOX21 has reached out to El Paso County DMV for the status of its offices but has not heard back at the time of writing.
