(COLORADO) — The Colorado Renaissance Festival and Artisan’s Marketplace is back for its 44th season starting Saturday, June 15 in Larkspur.
The festival brings the 16th century back to life with its Medieval Amusement Park. Individuals are welcome to come dressed in costume, all swords and daggers are permitted as long as they are properly sheathed and peace-tied.
Event-goers must also sport a shirt and shoes, and full face masks are not allowed.
All outside food and beverages other than factory-sealed bottled water are not allowed, however, event-goers can indulge in turkey legs, steak on a stake, fresh baked goods, and more at the festival for cash only.
Families may also enjoy Children’s Weekend on Saturday, July 6, and Friday, July 7. All children under the age of 12 are free that weekend.
Tickets can be bought online and children under 5 are free. Parking is free.
The festival will be open Saturdays and Sundays rain or shine until Sunday, Aug. 4 at 650 Perry Park Ave in Larkspur.
