(COLORADO SPRINGS) — Metric Brewing has announced it will be closing in June after seven years of serving the community.

The brewery announced its impending closure on May 1 on its Facebook page, calling the closure “unexpected.” The brewery said it can no longer operate in its current location on Circle Drive, and that the decision to close was not by choice.

“We are so proud of what we built and beyond grateful for everyone’s support,” the brewery said on Facebook.

Metric Brewing announced its last day of operation would be June 13, and invited everyone to come enjoy a beer and share memories of the time shared at the brewery. Metric Brewing is located at 1213 North Circle Drive, north of Galley Road.
