(COLORADO SPRINGS) — On March 12, a 31-year-old Colorado Springs man was killed in a hit-and-run crash, and on Saturday, March 23, the community gathered to honor and celebrate his life.

Staff at Colorado Springs Powersports said Shane Golden was their sales manager and was beloved in the community, bringing his smile, passion, kindness, and a love for all things motorcycles to everyone he met.

Several people who had been close to Golden gathered on Saturday for an honor ride around Motor City Drive. The honor ride was an opportunity to share memories and stories, and to remember Shane for the incredible person he was.
