(COLORADO SPRINGS) — A one-of-a-kind winter event happened on Saturday, Nov. 10, transforming Memorial Park into the ultimate battleground for adults eager to unleash their inner child – and their best snowball-throwing skills.
This winter event was all about making memories and not taking things too seriously. Participants teamed up, took cover, and battled it out in an epic snowball fight that left everyone laughing—and maybe a little cold. But don’t worry; hot chocolate was on hand to warm everyone up.
Organizers called the Memorial Park gathering the perfect excuse to get outside, have some fun, and embrace the winter season with a smile. The event, created on Facebook, drew interest from around 2,000 people, with a few hundred showing up.
“Bring your friends, bring your high school buddies, whoever you wanna bring, and just come out,” said Justin Terasas, Facebook event creator. “And don’t worry about anything except dodging snowballs and throwing them at other people.”
No word yet on another event this winter, but just in case… you might want to start practicing your snowball-making skills.
