“So I lost my vision when I was eight years old and it took almost four years for me to meet another person with a disability. And it was at my very first Paralympics for me, when I showed up to the pool and I looked at my mom and I said, Mom, nobody’s staring at me. Everybody’s different here, but everybody’s the same because we’re here for a shared love,” said Hermes “And that’s what I love about this park is that people of all different abilities can come and have fun and play together, and grow and learn and just share this opportunity with each other. So thank you so much for having me. I’m so excited that this is a part of our community and Go Team USA.”

Trinity Community Park opened in 2022 and is located off Knollwood Drive near I-25 and State Road 105.
