(COLORADO SPRINGS) — The Colorado Springs Police Department (CSPD) is alerting the public to a crash that has reduced North Powers Boulevard to one lane in northern Colorado Springs just before rush hour on Friday, Oct. 3.

According to CSPD, around 4:15 p.m., officers were responding to the scene of a crash at the intersection of North Powers Boulevard and Research Parkway. CSPD said southbound Powers is reduced to one lane south of Briargate for an undetermined amount of time.

CSPD is asking drivers to avoid the area and seek an alternate route.
