(COLORADO SPRINGS) — The Colorado Springs Fire Department (CSFD) said crews were on the scene of a house fire in southeast Colorado Springs in the afternoon of Friday, March 22.

CSFD posted to social media a bit before noon on Friday that crews were at a house fire in the 1200 block of Sorrento Drive near East Fountain Boulevard and Chelton Road.

According to CSFD, crews reported heavy fire and smoke from the home while they were working on the fire. At around 12:15 p.m., CSFD said the bulk of the fire had been knocked down.
