(COLORADO SPRINGS) — The Colorado Springs Fire Department (CSFD) responded to a fire off Highway 115 and Lake Avenue that burned about a 50′ x 60′ area.

The smoke from the fire was visible to drivers in the area, and the flames can be seen in this video captured by FOX21 News:

CSFD initially reported the fire shortly before 3:45 p.m. on Thursday, July 11, and it was knocked down about 20 minutes later. CSFD said crews would remain on scene to monitor for hotspots.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
