(COLORADO SPRINGS) — The Colorado Springs Fire Department (CSFD) reported that crews responded to an elderly care facility for a structure fire, in which they found and mitigated a source of smoke.
According to CSFD, crews were on scene at a care facility at 3490 Centennial Boulevard, near West Fillmore Street, around 11:15 a.m. on Saturday, May 10, where they were investigating the source of smoke in the building, with no visible fire. CSFD reported that all residents of the facility had been accounted for and were safe.
Around 11:45 a.m., CSFD reported that the source of smoke had been found and mitigated, and people were able to return to their homes.
