(COLORADO SPRINGS) — Fire and hazmat crews are responding to a structure fire at a commercial building on the west side of Colorado Springs.

The Colorado Springs Fire Department (CSFD) posted on social media shortly after 5 p.m. on Wednesday, May 14, and said crews were responding to a commercial structure fire at the corner of Garden of the Gods Road and Centennial Boulevard.

Hazmat crews were also on scene reportedly due to materials inside the building and the “nature of work” performed inside the building.

CSFD said crews are working to identify the source of the fire, and asked locals to avoid the area.
