(COLORADO SPRINGS) — The Colorado Springs Fire Department (CSFD) is working on a structure fire near I-25.
On Monday, Nov. 11, CSFD reported crews were working on a fire at Sun Springs Motel located at 1411 South Nevada Avenue. At 9:45 a.m., CSFD reported via X (formerly known as Twitter), that the fire had been contained to one unit and the fire had been knocked down.
At 9:55 a.m., CSFD said the fire was officially put out and no injuries were reported.
Fire crews are still in the area and will remain there for approximately 30 minutes. Southbound Nevada is closed at Brookside Street. CSFD asks individuals to avoid the area.
