(COLORADO SPRINGS) — The Colorado Springs Fire Department (CSFD) said crews are responding to a grass fire east of the Colorado Springs Airport on Thursday, March 13.

On Thursday at around 1 p.m., CSFD posted to social media that crews were responding to a grass fire east of the airport. CSFD said at the time there was no estimate of the size of the fire, and smoke was visible in the area.
