(COLORADO SPRINGS) — The Colorado Springs Fire Department (CSFD) said three members of CSFD are going to Tennessee as part of Colorado Task Force 1 (CO-TF1).

According to CO-TF1, the group has been activated and deployed to the area around Memphis, Tennessee, due to a significant outbreak of severe thunderstorms, including tornadoes, and the potential for flooding.

CO-TF1 said the team will most likely be tasked with water search and rescue and wide area search. The team is scheduled to be on the road by early Friday evening.
