(COLORADO SPRINGS) — The Colorado Springs Fire Department (CSFD) is warning the public of failing outlets and the fire danger they pose.
CSFD said if you have an outlet where the plugs are loose and falling out, then it is time to replace it. Recently, an inspector came across an outlet that was a danger to the home.

“Loose connections lead to heating of plugs and outlets, which could result in a fire. If your plugs are loose or you notice them getting really hot, call a licensed electrician and have it replaced,” writes CSFD.
