(TELLER COUNTY, Colo.) — The Colorado State Patrol (CSP) reported that troopers responded to a fatal crash on Highway 67 near Cripple Creek on Tuesday morning, Aug. 12, in which one teen died, and four were injured.
According to CSP, the call came in around 5:30 a.m., and when emergency responders arrived at the scene at the intersection of Teller County Road 81 and Highway 67, they found that a vehicle had rolled. The driver, a 16-year-old girl, suffered fatal injuries.
According to CSP, two teen boys, a 16-year-old and a 17-year-old, suffered serious injuries, and the remaining two passengers, a 16-year-old girl and an 18-year-old young woman, had moderate injuries.
CSP stated that the crash is still under investigation.
