UPDATE: According to Colorado State Patrol (CSP), a vehicle went off the side of a road at Cave of the Winds Mountain Park early Saturday afternoon.

Authorities said the vehicle seemed to be abandoned off of 100 Cave of the Winds Road. Officers are trying to locate anyone who may have been involved.

CSP said it plans to use drones to assist in the search.

UPDATE: According to the city of Manitou Springs, Colorado State Patrol is the lead agency of the situation. No agency has confirmed exactly what the situation is.

ORIGNAL: MANITOU SPRINGS, Colo. — According to the El Paso County Sheriff’s Office, there is a situation requiring first responders at Cave of the Winds Mountain Park.

FOX21 has been told the Manitou Springs Police Department is the leading agency. We have news staff on the way to the scene.
