(COLORADO SPRINGS) — A little after midnight on Sunday, Dec. 15, Colorado Springs Police Department (CSPD) officers were dispatched to a shooting victim near Airport Road and South Murray Boulevard.

When Officers arrived, they found a victim with a gunshot wound inside a vehicle in the 4300 block of Airport Road. The victim was transported to the hospital and is expected to survive.

According to CSPD, the shooting was discovered to have taken place in the 800 block of Aeroplaza Drive, next to the airport, where officers found several shell casings. It appeared to officers that the shooting occurred at a car meet that happened at the location.

CSPD said that no suspect has been identified at this time.
