(COLORADO SPRINGS) — The Colorado Springs Police Department (CSPD) has ordered a shelter-in-place in the area of 5000 Aubrey Way, due to the presence of a person with a gun around the Mountain Shadows Open Space on Saturday, Aug. 10.

The call came in around 5:30 p.m., according to CSPD, and the community is urged to stay away from the area until further notice. A Peak Alert was released telling locals to stay indoors, and lock and stay away from windows and doors.
