(COLORADO SPRINGS) — The Colorado Springs Police Department (CSFD) reported that people drove by and shot at a house on East Willamette Avenue, prompting someone to come out of the house and fire back in the overnight hours of Monday, April 8.

According to CSPD, unknown suspects drove past a home on the 2100 block of E. Willamette Ave, near Union Boulevard, and fired shots, hitting a house and its windows. They drove by a second time, shooting at the house, and a person in the house came out and returned fire at the vehicle.

The house had adults and children inside at the time, but no one was injured.
