CSPD: Info sought on possible DNA match to human bone found at Patty Jewett Golf Course

(COLORADO SPRINGS) — The Colorado Springs Police Department (CSPD) is seeking more information on a man who has possibly been linked to a human bone found at Patty Jewett Golf Course in 2024.

According to CSPD, a bone that was confirmed human by the El Paso County Coroner was discovered at Patty Jewett Golf Course on May 21, 2024. Detectives with CSPD’s homicide unit responded though several searches of the golf course resulted in no other remains being found.

A later analysis of the bone determined it was a human femur. CSPD said DNA testing has revealed a possible match to 55-year-old Donald Gillison, who has not been heard from since 2016.
