CSPD investigates alleged threats to charter school

(COLORADO SPRINGS) — The Colorado Springs Police Department (CSPD) is investigating alleged threats made to Grand Peak Academy, a School District 49 charter school, near East Woodmen Road and Black Forest Road, on Monday, April 21.

FOX21 News was made aware of the potential threats when a viewer sent a message showing an alert from the charter school to parents indicating that administrators were working closely with the police.

CSPD stated that it is investigating the threats, but at this time, there has been no evidence that the threats are credible, and the investigation continues, and police do not believe there is any connection to the school threats made in Pueblo.
