(COLORADO SPRINGS) — According to the Colorado Springs Police Department (CSPD), officers were dispatched to a robbery report at a bank on North Nevada Avenue on Friday, Aug. 16 around 10:30 a.m. The investigation is still ongoing.

CSPD reported that when officers and the Robbery Unit Detectives responded to the scene in the 4500 block of Nevada, Near Austin Bluffs Parkway, they found that a single male suspect committed a robbery and left the area on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash.

CSPD is continuing to investigate the incident.
